Lithuanian-Latvian Cultural Circle

Welcome to the Lithuanian-Latvian Cultural Circle! Here you will find all the information you need about our events, topics and dates. The Cultural Circle is aimed at anyone interested in the diverse field of contemporary Baltic studies.

Each event is dedicated to exciting areas of the Baltic region:

  • Literature – important authors, literary movements and questions of cultural identity
  • Sport – the social significance of individual sports and their historical development
  • Politics – political structures, historical experiences and current issues
  • Art and architecture – from ancient styles to contemporary positions
  • Cuisine – culinary traditions and regional specialities

Each event is open to anyone who is interested – regardless of whether you have prior knowledge or are simply curious.

The events take place every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in seminar room E.18 at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 3.
